Every day, our Breakfast Program is available for the students of Cumberland North Academy thanks to a grant from CCRCE's Health Promoting Schools as well as a generous donor. In addition to the grant, our Home and School hosts a Nourish Your Roots Fundraiser each September that also supports the program while also supporting local farmers.
The Breakfast Program is a universal program, which means that it is open to anyone who needs it. Students are offered a breakfast snack such as cereal, yogurt or a granola bar. Research shows that students learn better when they start the day with a good breakfast!
